It is routinely administered as an injection under the skin. Use of Enbrel is restricted in patients with hypersensitivity or widespread infection. It is advisable not to use this tumor-necrosis factor blocker as this medicine can pass into the breast milk and may be responsible for causing harm to a nursing baby. Do not breast-feed while using Enbrel. Do not use this injection during pregnancy.
