R. Reddy founded Navodaya Medical College in Raichur district, Karnataka, in 2001. It was the first private medical college in the district. It provides UG, PG, and Diploma courses in clinical, pre-clinical, and para-clinical sciences. The Medical Council of India has accredited this college, which is affiliated with Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences
