As the title suggests, Sony Liv's Bad Trip is about a group of friends who are dealing with their problems in life, namely Abhi (Krishna Chaitanya), Ved (Ravi Varma), Santosh (Giridhar), and Jo (Ardika Sharma). There is a strange circumstance in which they find each other and together devise a plan to save Reya (Archana Sastry) from the hand of her rich husband, a business tycoon. But as they get started on their plan, they discover startling facts about Reya and her background, and they find themselves caught up in bigger trouble than they could have imagined.
