Miliary TB is a type of disseminated or systemic TB which means that it has spread throughout the body via the lymphatic system or bloodstream. This form of TB usually affects multiple organs at once, including the lungs, skin, and lymph nodes. Miliary TB often presents as small lesions on the skin (called millet-shaped tubercles) which are usually accompanied by fever, fatigue, night sweats, weight loss and other flu-like symptoms.
